Police Investigation Report

When we arrived at 1.45 am on April 8th 2010 at the Volupides house, we saw Arthur Volupides lying dead on the stairs facing up with a wound on the back of his head. when we saw him, Arthur was still holding a cup in his hand and was using a suit underneath his bathrobe. According to Queenie, Arthur Volupides was coming downstairs for another drink and he slipped and as Queenie claimed, was the cause of his death.

As we looked for further evidence, nothing was out of place on the stairs. As a rule, when you fall down the stairs, you will try to grab something to prevent the fall and this does not support her claim. Arthur’s body is laying on a strange position. As a rule, when people slip down the stairs, most of the times they would fall head first. He was also still holding on the glass. As a rule, people will drop everything in their hand if they slip down the stairs. In the kitchen, we also saw that the frying pan is on. As a rule, people don’t normally cook at 1 am.

The autopsy that is conducted after we bring him to the hospital said that Arthur died because of a wound only on his head. This doesn’t support Queenie’s claim because when people slip down the stairs, they would have wounds at other parts of their body.

In our opinion. Queenie Volupides was not telling the truth because she doesn’t have enough evidence to back up her claim. Based on the evidence that we found, we believed that Arthur didn’t die because he slipped on the stairs. This case should be investigated further.

Amazing Grand Palace

For my holiday last week, my family and I went to Bangkok, Thailand.  I went to many amazing places. One of them is the Grand Palace. We took a taxi from our hotel. The traffic wasn't that bad, but it took us about half hour to go there.

The first time I saw the palace, it was so big and majestic. They have big pictures of The King everywhere. From our taxi, we walked towards the entrance of the palace. At first I thought we are going to only see the palace from outside and that's it, but I was wrong. Inside the palace, there are many temples. One of the temples has the emerald Buddha in it! It was really beautiful!

The walls are decorated with paintings of folktales and they added special effects in the painting to make it look like it is 3d. Sadly, we aren't allowed to take a photo of the buddha. Outside of the room of the buddha, the walls is decorated by colorful glass! It is like a mosaic and its really pretty. Out there, there are people who is walking around. I thought they were just walking, but it turns out that they were praying! It was a really amazing experience.
